The students will use the Internet to take an electronic field trip to Jamestown, Virginia.  They will answer questions based on information they learned at this web site.

·        Answer questions based on information they have read about or seen in photographs

Procedures:

1.      Students will access the Jamestown site on the Internet.  They will go to the following address:

2.     Students will follow the directions on the attached worksheet and answer the questions.

1.        On the main menu, click on “Visiting Jamestown.”  Then click on “Where is Jamestown?”     What 3 cities are near Jamestown?

2.      Click on the “BACK” button in the upper left hand corner of your screen to return to the “Visiting Jamestown” menu.   Next, click on “What to See.”    Then, click on “The Old Towne.”  Name the first 5 stops on your tour through the Old Towne.  Next to each one, list one important fact that you learned at that stop.
