School Objective #1 – 2009-2010
By June 2010, as an outcome
of targeted instruction in specific content area reading strategies, 85% of
all students enrolled in Grade One, will be able to list a minimum of three
significant concepts based on their Guided Reading of a non fiction science
content area article as measured by a locally developed holistic scoring
rubric.
This aligns with a district goal focusing on developing
and using rubrics
assessment to guide instruction.
School Objective #2 –2009-2010
By June 2010, following
targeted specific instruction and directed practice in multiplication
operations and facts, 85% of all students enrolled in Grade Three will demonstrate
proficiency and automaticity in knowledge and application of
multiplication as measured by a locally developed, five-point holistically
scored assessment rubric.
This aligns with a district goal focusing on using
assessment and data to guide instruction.
