September 2010 Dear Maple Road Families, Welcome back to school! I hope everyone had a safe and restful summer! Each year, the month of September brings with it the promise of a successful school year. Our success is largely measured by the social, emotional, and academic growth of all Maple Road School students. As principal, I’m eager to work with the entire school community to nurture that growth and fulfill that promise. September also brings with it a host of school events, including our first PTO Meeting on Wednesday, September 8, at 7:00 p.m., and, of course, Maple Road School Back To School Night on Wednesday, September 15, at 7:00 p.m. Please check the school calendar for other important school events and dates. Our full calendar and active school days make September a busy month. All of the teacher preparation, student supply organization, and parent paperwork are laying the foundation to a successful school year. It’s fitting that Labor Day lands in September! If you have any questions during the first few days of school or throughout the year, please don’t hesitate to contact us at Maple Road School. I look forward to a fun and learning filled year! Go Mustangs!!! Sincerely, William C. Kane Principal
