COMPENSATION GUIDES AND CONTRACTS

The Board of Education of the Township of West Milford believes that all district-wide administrators, principals, and the Board secretary are professional employees who should be adequately compensated in terms of their responsibilities, their performances in specific assignments, and their overall contribution to the schools they serve.

The Board recognizes the West Milford Association of Administrators and Supervisors as the professional association which represents the administrators in the general area of salary consideration and related benefits.

Central office administrators, where appropriate (Superintendent, Director of Education, Board Secretary/Business Administrator, Director of Special Services, Supervisor of Operations, Coordinator of Educational Support Services, Supervisor of Data Services, secretaries assigned to the foregoing positions), shall remain unaffiliated due to conflict of interest in supervision.

Benefits for Twelve-Month Unaffiliated Employees

Twelve-month contract employees of the Board of Education of the Township of West Milford who are not members of existing and recognized bargaining units pursuant to Chapter 303 shall be entitled to benefits as indicated in appropriate agreements.
