SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS
Payment for Extended Service
A substitute teacher, teaching in the same assignment for ten consecutive school days in his/her major field, will be paid at a minimum rate equivalent to the first step on the salary guide for the level of his/her educational training, commencing on the 11th day. Where no corresponding step to the teacher's salary guide exists, regular substitute pay rate will be continued.
