SECTION: INSTRUCTIONAL AND SUPPORT PERSONNEL
STAFF ATTENDANCE
The West Milford Board of Education believes that the regular presence of assigned personnel is vital to the success of the district's programs.
The Superintendent shall develop procedures to encourage all staff to strive for excellent attendance records. A system of monitoring staff attendance shall be developed for the purpose of maintaining accurate and up-to-date attendance information.
For those staff members who are approaching an unsatisfactory level of attendance, an adequate notice system will inform the employee before any disciplinary action is taken.
Provisions shall be made for acknowledgment of exceptional staff attendance records.
