INSURANCE
A group plan of pupil accident insurance shall be made available to every student registered in the schools of the district from junior kindergarten through grade twelve. The specific plan shall be approved by the Board.
The Board of Education agrees to underwrite the cost of athletic insurance for all students participating in inter-scholastic athletic programs, grades 7-12.
At the beginning of each school year, the Board affords parents the opportunity to participate in group accident insurance through the provider of the student accident/athletic insurance plan. The principal of each school will be responsible for seeing that parents of students enrolled within his/her jurisdiction are informed concerning protection afforded through student accident/athletic insurance.
