SECTION: BYLAWS OF THE BOARD

CONDUCT OF MEETINGS

The Business Administrator/Board Secretary shall post public notice designating appointed date, time, and location of all regular, special, workshop, or adjourned meetings of the Board, in accordance with the "Open Public Meetings Act".

All regular, special, or adjourned meetings of the Board shall commence no later than 8 p.m. (should no quorum be present, a recess of up to one hour shall be effected) and shall be limited to the completion of official business and motions on the floor, prior to ll p.m. The curfew hour shall be extended by the total time the Board meets in executive sessions. The curfew hour may be extended past ll p.m. by a 2/3 vote of the members present, providing a motion is duly moved, seconded, and passed, prior to curfew.

Should unfinished business remain, the presiding officer may schedule an adjourned meeting for the purpose of completing said items within three days, unless such date falls on a legal holiday.

An abbreviated agenda shall be made available to the public in session at a regular, special, workshop, or adjourned meeting.

The order of conduct at all regular meetings shall be that as adopted by the Board.

All regular, special, or adjourned meetings of the Board shall operate in accordance with newly revised Roberts Rules of Order and all minutes of the meeting shall be recorded by the Business Administrator/Board Secretary.
