Resolution Approving a Renegotiated 2016-2021 Agreement for Alex Anemone, Ed.D as Superintendent of Schools, West Milford Township School District.

WHEREAS, the State of New Jersey has enacted P.L. 2007, c.53, An Act Concerning School District Accountability; and

WHEREAS, Section 5 of the Act amended N.J.S.A. 18A: 11-11 to require boards of education to provide public notice 30 days prior to the renegotiation, extension, amendment, or alteration of an employment contract with the superintendent of schools, assistant superintendent of schools, or school business administrator; and

WHEREAS, said public notice of a public hearing was provided to the public via posting in the office of the Board Secretary located at 46 Highlander Drive, West Milford, NJ 07480 on June 20, 2019, and on the district's public website on June 20, 2019; mailing on June 20, 2019, to the district's official newspaper, The Record and the North Jersey Herald News for publication, and filing on June 20, 2019, with the clerk of West Milford Township for public posting:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the West Milford Township Board of Education hereby designates starting at 7:30 P.M. in the Media Center at Westbrook School, 55 Nosenzo Pond Road, West Milford, NJ 07480, on July 23, 2019 as the Public Hearing required by the Act, after which the Board may take action to amend the Superintendent’s contract.
