From the Principal's Desk
Hello Marshall Hill community,
Welcome to Marshall Hill Elementary School! As we embark on another great school year, 2025-2026, I know that my dedicated team and I are excited to get to work once again and provide a safe and inviting educational experience for our young learners.
At Marshall Hill Elementary School, we are committed to meeting the needs of all learners. We know that students come to us with varying backgrounds and life experiences and our staff embraces the fact that every student has unique needs and perspectives. Part of what makes our community so strong, so inclusive, is that we celebrate the value and worth of each and every individual in our school. As a National School of Character, recently earned again by our entire school community, we are proud of our commitment to fostering good character and inclusion.
We also strive to provide a rigorous academic experience for our students. Utilizing programs like Wonders and Eureka Math 2, our teachers are equipped to help students gather essential understandings. iReady, our student diagnostic platform, helps teachers and students develop goals and pursue an individualized learning path for our learners. Students are taught that perseverance and grit are necessary ingredients in the recipe for success. That is why we believe our role extends beyond academics, shaping character and instilling values that prepare students for challenges both inside and outside the classroom. It is our goal to not simply teach curriculum but to teach lessons that will carry them far in life as well.
In order to achieve these goals, parent-school communication and collaboration are critical. We have an active and engaged PTA that works hard to provide amazing experiences and resources for our students and teachers. I invite each and everyone of you to join the PTA and become part of a great organization. When parents and school staff work together, there's no limit to what these great students of ours can accomplish.
