Dear UGL Families, Staff, and Students,

Welcome to another exciting school year at Upper Greenwood Lake Elementary!

As I begin my second year as principal, I find myself even more excited than I was a year ago. Looking back on my first year, I am incredibly grateful for the warm welcome I received from our students, families, staff, PTA, and the entire Upper Greenwood Lake community. From the very first day, you made me feel like part of the UGL family, and I cannot thank you enough for your kindness, support, and partnership.

Together, we accomplished so much during my first year, and I truly believe we are just getting started. We have built strong relationships, celebrated student success, strengthened our school community, and created a positive culture where children come first. Because of the incredible work of our teachers, staff, families, and students, we have built a foundation that will allow us to continue growing and reaching even greater heights.

This year, we are hitting the ground running! Our staff has already been hard at work preparing for an amazing year of learning, growth, and fun. We will continue to focus on providing outstanding instruction, supporting every child academically, socially, and emotionally, and creating experiences that make school a place where students are excited to learn each day.

One thing that will never change is my commitment to maintaining an open-door policy and working closely with our families and PTA. The partnership between home and school is one of UGL's greatest strengths, and together there is no limit to what we can accomplish for our children.

I truly believe the best is yet to come. The energy, passion, and dedication of this community inspire me every day, and I cannot wait to see what we accomplish together this year. Let's continue building on the momentum we created and make this our best year yet.
