Dear UGL Families, Staff, and Students,

My name is Jay Alloy, and I am absolutely over the moon with excitement to be joining the Upper Greenwood Lake Elementary family! I bring more than 24 years of experience in New Jersey public schools, having worked across all grade levels from Pre-K through 12th grade. My administrative background has been centered in the elementary grades, and my greatest joy comes from working alongside dedicated educators to help children grow and thrive. I cannot wait to partner with our amazing staff, students, and community to make this school year the very best one yet!

I believe in an open-door policy and value strong collaboration with our exceptional staff and dedicated PTA. Together, I know we will create a learning environment where students can achieve their fullest potential while growing socially and emotionally. I am a strong believer in data-driven decision-making to inform our instruction and meet the unique needs of every learner. This year, we will work hand in hand to inspire curiosity, celebrate progress, and ensure that every student feels supported, challenged, and celebrated.
