Extra-Curricular Activities

Highlander Academy is committed to providing each student with a full school experience and thus, extra-curricular activities play an important role in student life. Specific field trips for Highlander students are a regular part of the school schedule and access to the full spectrum of after-school activities at West Milford High School and Macopin, including sports, theater, orchestra and school clubs are always available to Highlander students. 

Transitional Services

Preparing for post high school life is an integral part of the Highlander experience. Upper-class students work closely with the Case Manager and Guidance Counselor in planning for a student’s future. Career Day, On-Site Decision Day, vocational counseling and college preparatory activities are available to all Highlander students.
