WEST MILFORD TOWNSHIP PUBLIC SCHOOLS KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

Kindergarten registration is for West Milford residents and will begin January 20, 2026, for those children who will be five (5) years old on or before October 1, 2026.

Now is the time to begin to register your child for Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year. To access the pre-registration materials, please select WMTPS Student Pre-Registration.  Clicking on this link will begin the pre-registration process. Once you have completed the pre-registration application, you will be asked to print the required documents to bring with you to your registration appointment. Once completed, please call the school your child will be attending to schedule a registration appointment. If you are unsure about which school your child will attend, the Transportation Department may be contacted at 973-697-1700 ext. 7701.

If you do not have the ability to print the required registration documents at home; West Milford Township Library, Highlands Family Success Center and the elementary school your child will be attending should be able to assist in obtaining these documents for you.

Families who register prior to February 20, 2026, will have the opportunity to select a morning or afternoon orientation session at their kindergartner’s home school.
